Tablehurst Barn

About

Tablehurst Farm is a community-owned biodynamic farm on a beautiful hillside on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. The farm is open to the public all the time (no entry charge) so you can wander freely. As well as farming (meat, poultry, dairy cattle and vegetables) we operate a thriving farm shop and a garden café (café closed in winter).

There is a regular programme of community events at the farm (details on our website) and we warmly welcome volunteers who would like to support the farm by getting involved in our work.

We also host an outdoor education initiative for children aged 0 to 16, and run a small care home for three adults with learning difficulties. People visit Tablehurst to see the animals, to enjoy the outstanding High Weald landscape, to relax over a coffee, to buy our produce and to attend our events. If you are bored of the “usual” visitor attractions, you might find us a little bit more down-to-earth and authentic.
