Summer at Stowe Landscape Gardens

Stowe was created by a family once so powerful they were richer than the king.

The scale, grandeur and beauty of Stowe is shown through over forty temples and monuments, gracing an inspiring backdrop of lakes and valleys with an endless variety of walks and trails. A vibrant new Visitor Centre on the site of a derelict coaching inn used by the earliest visitors to Stowe around 300 years ago opened in 2012. Offering a greatly enriched experience for visitors including a café, gift shop, plant sales and 18th Century Parlour rooms.

Little known facts:
1. There is a new circular lakeside walk.
2. Visit newly restored 18th Century parlour rooms.
3. Let children discover Stowe’s secrets with their own map.
