Owletts - National Trust


Owletts is a small red-brick Charles II house with an interesting garden. It is occupied as a family home and is administered and maintained on the National Trust’s behalf by a descendent of the donor.

The former home of the architect Sir Herbert Baker, famous for his work in India (where he worked with Lutyens) and South Africa, the house has a Carolean staircase and plasterwork ceiling and large kitchen garden. The garden is best viewed from May onwards.
