Jerwood Gallery is situated next to the historic fishing beach in Hastings' picturesque Old Town, the award winning Jerwood Gallery is home to the Jerwood Collection of Modern and Contemporary British art, and a diverse temporary exhibition programme.

Jerwood Gallery is an independent charity. Your ticket price contributes towards our running costs and joins with support from Jerwood Foundation, Arts Council England, Hastings Borough Council, our Members and Supporters to enable the gallery to continue to display its exhibitions and outreach programmes.

FREE from 4pm - 8pm
On the first Tuesday of every month the gallery is free to all between the hours of 4pm - 8pm. The cafe is also open during this time.

    The Jerwood Gallery is just off the A259 on Rock-a-Nore Road, 62 miles from London. The A21, which runs between London and Hastings provides easy access into the centre of Hastings.

    Public Transport Directions

    By Bus - Hastings and St. Leonards are served by the Stagecoach bus company who run regular bus services in the town. By Rail - Regular train services run from London Victoria and London Charing Cross to Hastings.  Direct trains to Hastings from Brighton and Ashford International.
