Granny Beesley's is based in the heart of Faringdon a small market town 20 miles South West of Oxford City and sits at the South-East gateway to the Cotswolds. Faringdon is a town renowned for its quirky history and still boasts a unique artisan culture. It is close to several national trust properties and areas of outstanding natural beauty. The town and Market Place has many independent retailers including Vintage Goth Shadows (A unique magical and mysterious shop with an ethereal atmosphere), The Gifted Magpie (A classic gift shop), Little Big Top (Selling traditional toys and games), An artisan bread and cake shop, A classic butchers and a traditional baker, we even have a candlestick maker. Faringdon also has several teashops and restaurants serving English Breakfast, High Tea and country pubs serving classic ploughman's lunches and evening and Sunday dinners.

Road Directions

Road Directions M4 Junction 16 for Swindon. Follow A17 towards Cirencester, take the turn to join A420 to Oxford and follow for 12 miles. When you reach Faringdon head towards the Town Centre Market Place. There are several car parks sign posted — parking is free for the first two hours. From Oxford join the A420 at the A34 junction follow the A420 for 20 miles. There is a two-hour free parking tariff in Faringdon car parks.

By Bus:

Oxford City — Stagecoach 66 from Gloucester Green to Faringdon Market Place approx. 45 mins. (London street is just off the top left corner of the Market Place less than 2 min walk).

Swindon Town Centre — Stagecoach 66 from Swindon Bus Station to Faringdon Market Place approx. 30 mins. (London Street is just off the top left corner of the Market Place less than 2 min walk).
