With the rapid increase in COVID-19 infections and the resulting changes to government guidance, to help keep everyone safe Hampshire Cultural Trust museums and galleries are currently closed and will remain so until further notice. We will re-open as soon as we can and look forward to welcoming you back.
Gosport Gallery is a bright and welcoming exhibition space located in the historic former assembly hall of Gosport Grammar School. It hosts a wide variety of exhibitions and events from shows of work by the finest local artists to exhibitions drawing on the rich collections cared for by Hampshire Cultural Trust.
It is fast becoming a regional venue for major exhibitions either touring or on loan from national museums and collections. We also run a wide and varied programme of events ranging from talks to workshops.
Workshops or self-led visits for KS1-4 linked to the exhibition programme are often available where there is a clear curriculum link. Please enquire through SEARCH on 023 9250 1957 or email search@hampshireculturaltrust.org.uk
Following the revision of the tier system by the government and the movement of Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant into tier 3, Gosport Gallery and the Play Gallery will be closed from Saturday 19 December 2020. We are planning to re-open as soon as the current restrictions lift and look forward to welcoming visitors back when we can!
