The Kings Head

Celebrating the local produce found on its doorstep, The King’s Head in historic Wye has made a name for itself nationally since opening in 2013. Scott Richardson and Mark Lightford left their respective careers in the music and fashion industries to transform the former Victorian Coaching Inn into a foodie destination. Their efforts have paid off with numerous awards and critical acclaim.

Under Head Chef, Carl Jordan, the kitchen showcases the best of Kent with an innovative seasonal menu, paired with an impressive drinks range including local English sparkling wines. The quality of the food is matched only by the warmth of its bright and airy guest rooms, each thoughtfully decorated with reclaimed and vintage furniture. Putting this beautiful corner of England on the map, The King’s Head is a gem and rightly loved by the
local community. Little wonder that it’s been voted one of the UK’s best places to eat, drink and stay. One visit won’t be enough!
