Macknade Fine Foods - The Cafe

About

Located at Macknade Fine Foods, Faversham, the café showcases what can be done with the fantastic ingredients found in the store.

The passionate team create all manner of wonderful dishes, and draw real inspiration from the unique opportunity of having Macknade as their kitchen larder.

The café is renowned for its platters, made up of charcuterie and cheeses hand-selected by the Macknade deli team. These personify what Macknade is and what it is all about – trying new, exciting produce from Kent and beyond and sharing that experience with family and friends.

Good coffee has always been central to the Macknade way of life. The house coffee is imported directly from the Italian roaster Manaresi and is delivered using a mixture of modern and classic espresso techniques. This gives a unique and high quality coffee that does not disappoint. Macknade also source coffee from small batch artisan roasters in the UK and offer two guest blends per month.

For those that prefer tea, there is a selection of fine, loose leaf teas blended especially by Kent based, master-blenders Blends for Friends. The teas change regularly and there are some really interesting blends available. The café also works with creative and talented local bakers who provide an unrivalled cake selection to accompany the wide range of drinks.
