Macknade creates spaces and experiences that bring communities together around a shared love of food & drink.
Encompassing retail, hospitality, events, food service and farming, the Macknade brand has been synonymous with quality and community since 1847.
With strong roots here in the garden of England and the island of Ischia in Italy, Macknade has been in the same family for six generations . In 1979 they began retailing – opening Macknade Farm Shop, which later became Macknade’s Faversham Food Hall. They opened their second location 15 miles away in Ashford, offering an all-day dining & shopping experience at Elwick Place, on the site of the old cattle market. Macknade Ashford is open every day and guests can shop from an extensive range of fresh produce, groceries, wine & cheese or enjoy dishes and drinks in the restaurant.
Using quality ingredients, simply cooked to bring out their flavours, dishes reflect Macknade’s Kentish & Mediterranean roots and feature meat from their award-winning butchers, fresh seasonal produce and cheese & charcuterie from their famous deli counter.
Macknade Ashford is located at Elwick Place, in Ashford Town Centre. This is only 5 minute’s drive from junction 9 of the M20, with excellent links into London and down to the port of Dover. Pay & display parking is available directly outside. For further details please visit the Macknade website.
Macknade Ashford is only 7 minutes’ walk from Ashford International Station, which is just 37 minutes from London St Pancras and 20 minutes from the cathedral city of Canterbury. There are also bicycle racks outside, with excellent connectivity across the town. For further details please visit the Macknade website.
