British Pedal Car Grand Prix

The 5th New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix takes place on Sunday 14th July 2013. There will be events and entertainment for everyone throughout the day with the grand prix during the afternoon. From early morning through to 5pm there will be activities on the recreation ground with entertainment for all and pedal cars on display in the ' parc ferme'.

The race can be viewed from anywhere around the 1km track which takes in most of Station Road and part of Old Milton Road, from the traffic lights to the Elm Avenue car park entrance. Perhaps the best views can be obtained from the traffic lights area for the start/finish, The tight turns at the north and south ends of station road always provide plenty of action with drivers crashing out as they try to take the hairpins too fast and the pit action can be observed from the east side of north Station Road, looking across the track.

The winning teams will be presented with their trophies immediately after the race, at the finishing line by the traffic lights. Don't stand too close though if you don't appreciate being soaked in champagne!
