Beale Park Reviews (from Trip Advisor)

  • For only £7 Beale Park offers a day out for little outlay. There's plenty for the kids to do however the park did seem a little run down.

  • Went here on Father's Day we did the 5k run which was fantastic. Then we went into Beale park and cooled of in there big paddling pool walked around looking at the animals (mainly birds) got in the train for a ride around the park. Definitely would go back but I'd take a picnic next time

  • It was lovely sunny day and we strolled round the park looking at the animals and having a ride on the train! There is also a kids play zone with an outdoor pool. We took a tasty picnic and enjoyed it on a grassy area surrounded by other families enjoying their day out. I will definitely be returning here.

  • Visited Beale park with my partner over fathers day weekend, the weather was so beautiful, the heat did however mean that some of the animals were hiding in the shade, not that that's beale parks fault or that I blame them! I'd have joined them if I could! It was a nice place, £10 per adult, this includes a free train ticket, however the train was unfortunately broken down the day we visited. There is no time limit other than the general opening hours of the park. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and I loved how close you are able to get to the animals. My only criticism would be the map was rubbish. As a firat time visitor (and an adult) we wanted to see as much as possible, but we had no idea which way to start and which path to take, the map shows the animal enclosures but there is nothing to guide you around the walks and the gardens which left us feeling as though we had missed something. The visit as a whole was lovely though and we will definitely visit again.

  • The sun was out, the clouds came and gave a nice breeze, the animals were chilling in the warm weather and we had a great time. My son was running around from one cage to another and when we got back to the car he was so tired that he fell asleep immediately and i knew he had fun! And so did we :)

  • It's an ok couple of hours out. I believe it is better for younger children. My son would of been happy staying on the train all day
