Rediscovering what on the doorstep has been a welcome experience for many. Local produce, hidden beauty spots and shared community spaces. As lockdown eases a little, we can enjoy the outdoors in small groups, local gardens, outdoor spaces, high street and village shops, zoos and wildlife parks are beginning to open, which is great news and allows us to stretch our legs and enjoy a change of scenery.

As you continue to explore your local area, you may rediscover what's on your doorstep, and perhaps experience attractions and smaller businesses not visited in a while. Know you are also playing your part to get your local economy and the tourism industry back on its feet.  The tourism industry has been hugely affected but this pandemic, and we are not out of the woods yet, your business really will help.

It is important to feel secure in all our travel, respect the environment we are in and fully enjoy the experiences. It will all take time, but if we stay alert and support local, it's a fantastic start!

Below we signpost you to local tourism information, your closest experiences and inspiration across South East England wherever your location.
