Winchester, Hampshire

Embark on an Anglo-Saxon adventure as you step back in time to the year 878… Befriend Winchester’s Anglo-Saxon people and uncover their stories. Enjoy an awesome blend of live performance, interactive games, stunning historic artefacts and an augmented reality tour of the city. Unearth lost buildings, complete puzzles and experience the impressive world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla®.

Basingstoke, Hampshire

Splash about at Basingstoke Aquadrome, catch a movie at the Odeon cinema, ice skate at Planet Ice or bowl a few frames at Hollywood Bowl.

Experience the thrill of skydiving at iFly or stroll the cobbled streets of Milestones Museum, enjoying a brand new domestic living exhibition for the summer and have a go at their living history trail.

Grab a bite to eat at many venues or visit McDonalds, KFC or The Spruce Goose. 

Weybridge, Surrey

Inspired by the brand-new Barnes Wallis exhibition, come uncover the marvellous inventions of Brooklands’ amazing innovators. Enjoy:

Eastbourne, East Sussex

Take a trip in the UK’s tallest transportable Ferris wheel this summer! Standing at 160ft tall, enjoy stunning views of the Sussex coast and the South Downs all from Eastbourne’s sunny seafront lawns. 

After your ride, hop on the seafront Dotto train for a trip to the sparkling marina or the spectacular Holywell beach for a spot of rock pooling. 

Complete your day with live music and dining at the Victoria Place Pop-Up Park (22 July – 3 Sept), or journey back in time with sensational tribute acts at Eastbourne Bandstand.

Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

Join in with the Big Friendly Summer at the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden, Bucks. There’s lots on offer from BFG storytelling to creating clay snozzcumbers.

Go on BFG themed walks around the village or try your hand at some BFG science and drama workshops.

Plus, Waterperry Opera Festival are bringing their production of Revolting Rhymes to the courtyard from 28-30 July.

Guildford, Surrey

Head to Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village this Summer for a full day of art, nature and creativity.

Get ready for fun family days celebrating the new exhibition Victorian Virtual Reality in August. There'll be photography-inspired drop-in activities, stories and trails.

Throughout the Summer holidays, take part in creative workshops, have an adventure in the play wood, as well as picking up free trails to explore the site.
