Eastbourne

Eastbourne, East Sussex

Take a trip in the UK’s tallest transportable Ferris wheel this summer! Standing at 160ft tall, enjoy stunning views of the Sussex coast and the South Downs all from Eastbourne’s sunny seafront lawns. 

After your ride, hop on the seafront Dotto train for a trip to the sparkling marina or the spectacular Holywell beach for a spot of rock pooling. 

Complete your day with live music and dining at the Victoria Place Pop-Up Park (22 July – 3 Sept), or journey back in time with sensational tribute acts at Eastbourne Bandstand.

Roald Dahl Museum

Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

Join in with the Big Friendly Summer at the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden, Bucks. There’s lots on offer from BFG storytelling to creating clay snozzcumbers.

Go on BFG themed walks around the village or try your hand at some BFG science and drama workshops.

Plus, Waterperry Opera Festival are bringing their production of Revolting Rhymes to the courtyard from 28-30 July.

Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village

Head to Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village this Summer for a full day of art, nature and creativity.

Get ready for fun family days celebrating the new exhibition Victorian Virtual Reality in August. There'll be photography-inspired drop-in activities, stories and trails.
