Hampshire

1066 Country, East Sussex

The birthplace of modern England, 1066 Country, Sussex boasts the iconic landmarks of Battle Abbey, built on the site of the Battle of Hastings and the beautiful, moated 14th Bodiam Castle. 

The area's charming towns, such as Rye and Winchelsea, showcase medieval architecture and maritime heritage. Pevensey Castle dates from Roman times; Hastings Castle is William the Conqueror’s first English castle. Banbury, Oxfordshire

Journey into 175 years of heritage and history at Hook Norton Brewery, Oxfordshire. Established in 1849, the family owned brewery handcrafts a wide range of award winning ales, stouts and lagers from its iconic Victorian Tower Brewery.

Book onto a brewery tour, enjoy a tasty treat in the Malthouse Cafe, pick up some beer from the shop and meet the shire horses still used to deliver beer the traditional way.

Chichester, West Sussex

From the Roman market city of Chichester to the Civil War and siege of the city – Chichester’s Cathedral is home to over nine centuries of history.

Delve deeper into this rich sacred heritage by experiencing a Tour led by expert guides at 11.30am and 2.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Spaces can be purchased on the day from just £4.00. Groups of over six are advised to book in advance.

Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
