October Half Term Fun

Dear TSE Staff

Dive into the South East this autumn, with mini staycation breakaways, autumn trails, epic days out and bouncing fun. As the Autumn days fill with colour and the longer nights approach, you’ll find a host of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy with all the family this October half term.

Watch out! Halloween creeps into the end of October, full of spell binding fun, ghostly trails and out of this world adventures, there’s lots of spook-tacular ways to treat the kids this holiday.

Will you venture into the deep dark wood this October half term at Wakehurst, West Sussex?

Follow the journey of the Gruffalo's Child on the interactive trail, discovering surprises and characters along the way.

You can also make a stick buddy and join a creative cookery camp.

16th – 31st  October

Young visitors are invited to come along dressed as witches, wizards, ghosts, ghouls, zombies and skeletons as our spellbinding Hallowsteam event on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October. Climb aboard a working steam train for a trip to a spooky Victorian station specially decorated with cobwebs, spiders, bats and more. Here, you can see a rare Great Western Railway coffin trolley and step into a "haunted" carriage.

22nd-31st October

As Halloween creeps closer, a mysterious mist falls across the gardens at Blenheim Palace.

Join with family and friends to wander from dusk into darkness between one ghostly space to another... if you dare!

After treat yourself and the family to a spooktacular Afternoon Tea. With savoury snacks, scones and cakes for adults and Ghost gingerbread biscuits, Spooks eyeball jelly and Dracula punch for children, there’s so many treats in store (separate adult and children’s menus).

Bounce to your heart’s content at Surrey’s brand new trampoline park with over 30,000 sq ft of bouncing fun for all ages.

Enjoy 49 interconnected trampolines that span across the floor and up the walls on the Main Court – as well as an obstacle course, AirHOP Bag, WipeOut, Extreme Dodge Attack, Augmented Reality (AR) Trampolines, and more!

It is also a fantastic place to hold a birthday party, with some great party packages to choose from. Nothing could be easier than an AirHop party: 100% fun. Zero stress.

Set within the beautiful East Sussex countryside, the Herstmonceux Castle Estate is a great destination for a family day out this autumn.

From the pink and red hues of the Japanese maples to the vivid yellow and orange of the liquid ambers, the gardens and grounds offer a kaleidoscope of seasonal colour.

Grab a copy of our Autumn Nature Explorer sheet before heading off to the gardens and woodland.

Bunk Campers offers a wide range of modern 2-6 berth campervans and motorhomes for hire from our depots at London Heathrow, Edinburgh, Dublin & Belfast.
