Dover welcomes millions of visitors each year and is great location for those wanting to explore the area. Discover 2000 years of history at Dover Castle situated on top of the famous White Cliffs. See the world’s oldest known sea-going boat at Dover Museum & Bronze Age Boat Gallery. Walk along the cliffs to South Foreland Lighthouse at St Margaret’s Bay or take advantage of our wonderful coastline on an exhilarating tour with Dover Sea Safari.

 
Deal

Maritime Deal

Steeped in maritime history is the beautiful town of Deal. Stroll along the pier and look back at a view that has hardly changed in a century. Visit one of the historic castles in Deal and Walmer, see a range of maritime exhibits at Deal Museum or find out about Deal’s history on a walking tour. A short walk from the seafront there’s a wealth of independent shops and places to eat and drink. 

 
Sandwhich

Medieval Sandwich

Wander through the unspoilt streets in the town of Sandwich. Once a bustling and prosperous port, it is now said to be one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in Britain. Visit the refurbished Sandwich Guildhall Museum with updated displays, an array of artefacts as well a display of an original Magna Carta and Charter of the Forest. There’s a wide range of events taking place in Sandwich throughout the year including Le Weekend and Sandwich Festival.
