Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market

About

Founded in 2006, Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market is recognised as one of the best in Europe due to its unique location, high quality exhibitors and bustling atmosphere. Christmas gifts, decorations and festive foods can be found in abundance.

Winchester Cathedral's Christmas Market is inspired by traditional German Christmas markets with pretty wooden chalets, situated in the Cathedral’s historic Close.

This year adjustments have been made to the market to make the market a safe space with plenty of room for all to enjoy. Instead of hosting an ice rink they are working in conjunction with the ‘Wooly Hat Fair’ to bring theatre to life for all to enjoy in our new and improve food court area.

Food and Drink

You’ll find chalets selling festive favourites such as, mulled wine, bratwurst, mince pies and stollen. Alternatively, the Cathedral Refectory and Café Bar & Kitchen provide a warm and comfortable setting with plenty of seating and great menus.
