Victorian Terrific Tuesday

About

The Museum's Education team have created some educational May half-term activities with this special Victorian themed Terrific Tuesdays. Join us for themed family activities, games and crafts all for the standard admission price!

This May half-term Tuesday will focus on the Victorians. Join us to celebrate 200 years since the birth of Queen Victoria (born 24th May 1819).

During this Terrific Tuesday you can take part in our silhouette trial of Victorian objects. In our craft barn you can make Victorian paper dolls, lavender bags, binka samples and Victorian cards. Visit the Victorian pharmacy and find out about cures and ailments of Victorian times. Try on some Victorian props and hats and take a few selfies to show your friends.

You can also take part in a Victorian school session and try your hand at cooking a Victorian recipe. These activities have limited spaces so please sign up for a session upon arrival.
