Trinity Concert Band: The Music of Flight

About

Join Reading's Trinity Concert Band on a musical journey through the absorbing story of flight!

For thousands of years, humans have dreamed of taking to the skies. The quest has led from kite flying and hydrogen-powered hot-air balloons to daredevil flyers launching themselves into the air and onwards to supersonic flight and man's first steps on the moon.

The Music of Flight will feature a host of classical favourites and iconic music from the big screen that will take you on a musical journey through the trials and tribulations that have led to modern-day aviation and spaceflight, and will showcase Trinity Concert Band's incredible musicianship. Highlights to include:

FLY ME TO THE MOON • 633 SQUADRON • THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN IN THEIR FLYING MACHINES • MARS: THE PLANETS • SPITFIRE PRELUDE • SUPERMAN • SKYFALL and many more!

With such an exciting repertoire performed by one of the UK's top community wind orchestras, The Music of Flight is a concert you won't want to miss – a musical delight for performers and audiences alike. So, whether or not you've experienced the thrill of live music, be sure to book your tickets for this spectacular concert.

A portion of concert proceeds will go to the band's chosen charity for 2023, Thrive - using gardening to change lives | #TCBMoreThanMusic
