The Impact of Geometry in Art – a talk by Karen French

About

From the 27th of Feb - April 16th LiterArties will be exhibiting in the Jam Factory's Boiler Room.

All published authors, and members of Writers in Oxford, championed by Phillip Pullman, LiterArties is a group of writer-artists, representing their unique inspiration in form and colour as well as words.

Being both writers and artists, they also seek to encourage multi-dimensional creativity; writing, painting, visualising, understanding – inbothimagination, and general perception. LiterArties was formed to encourage others to develop and enjoy these skills too, and in order to do so interactive workshops and talks are an integral part of their exhibitions.

The Impact of Geometry in Art – a talk by Karen French:

The patterns underlying life have always fascinated Karen as a mathematician and artist. Why are they there? What are they for? What do they mean? Why and how can we use them?

As an international author, Karen is known for The Gateway Series of books, which currently includes the titles, Gateway to the Heavens and the Hidden Geometry of Life, published by Watkins Publishing Ltd.
