Summer at Blenheim Palace

From spectacular pageants to a right royal dress up, battles and duels, to bugs and butterfly trails. Explore the parkland, discover the formal gardens, and get lost in our Marlborough Maze. Join us for a summer jam packed with magical activities for all ages.

From Wednesday 6th July – Saturday 3rd September you can join Beatrix Potter in the garden of old Mr. McGregor and help rescue Peter Rabbit. Through a magical mix of storytelling, live performance, and puppetry the world of Beatrix Potter will come alive in Blenheim Palace's Walled Garden in this 50-minute immersive adventure, The Peter Rabbit Garden Adventure.

On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July, celebrate the life of Britain's greatest soldier and statesman, John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, at our spectacular Marlborough 300 Pageant. Experience the thrills of battle with muskets, drums and cavalry charges, and you may even meet John and Sarah Churchill themselves.

From Saturday 23rd July – Sunday 4th September, head across to the Stables for a Right Royal Dress Up. There will be costumes for little Dukes and Duchesses to try on for size, before they can Have-a-go with Hobby Horses and see who's the fastest!

Running all summer long, all the family can explore the gardens with our Bugs and Butterflies Trail. Looking to go further afield? Head out into the Park and discover fantastic filming locations that Blenheim Palace has starred in, in our Lights, Camera, Action Trail. If action is more your thing, our Bungee Trampolines are back down at the Walled Garden. During weekends in August, you can also witness live duelling in the Great Court with Art of the Duel.

Older visitors can enjoy beer tasting as the Hook Norton shire horses return to the East Courtyard. And for a gentle August bank holiday weekend why not join us for a relaxing Rowing Boat ride on the lake, running Friday 26th – Monday 29th August.
