Portsmouth Big Mouth Comedy Festival

Get ready for what is set to be a fine four days of folly, frivolity and tom foolery guaranteed between 1st and 8th March at Portsmouth Guildhall’s Big Mouth Comedy Festival!

The legend that is the funny man Milton Jones, opens the festival on Friday 1st March with a special set featuring a mix of new material and some of his greatest hits. A regular on Mock the Week and headliner on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo and Dave’s One Night Stand, Jones is described as an ‘absurdist genius’.

Joining Jones for the opening night, known for her one woman shows and being quite simply ‘a damn funny woman’ is Jo Caulfield with one of the best young comedians around with his gauche charm and crafty self-aware wit; Ivo Graham and nominee for Edinburgh Comedy Festival’s award for Best Show; Larry Dean.

A further three days of fun on 2nd, 7th and 8th March include Q&As with comedy legends Neil Morrissey of Men Behaving Badly and Cold Feet’s John Thomson, the Best of the Fringe with some of TV’s biggest stars including Geoff Norcott, Dane Baptiste, Larry Dean, Ivo Graham, Nigel NG and John Moloney, comedy drama Police Cops in Space by the hilarious The Pretend Men and the chance to see some of the UK’s hottest new acts.
