Gather inspiration from the beautiful patterns of nature to design and form your own mug. You will receive expert tuition from Anna McCallion from Quirk and Whimsy, as you build your mug from hand using slabs of clay. Use imagery of nature and of the flora and fauna of Gilbert White's Garden to inspire and design naturalistic motifs to adorn your work and create your own handcrafted mug to proudly sip tea from!
Once you have formed your mug, Anna will take them back to her studio and dry, fire and glaze them (with glazes chosen during the workshop). Either collect them from Anna's studio in Farnham once ready or for an additional charge Anna can post your mug to you.
Please wear old clothing, materials and refreshments included. There are two price options, the cost of the workshop is £55 (not including postage) or if you prefer to have your mug posted to you then the cost will be £59.50. Please choose which option you would like at checkout.
£55 per person (collect your mug yourself from Anna's studio in Farnham)
£59.50 (includes postage of your mug to you)
