Knight Time Half Term Activities at Windsor Castle

About

Everyone is welcome to join our fun-filled half-term activities at the Castle.

Families visiting Windsor Castle this Half Term will learn all the skills they need to become a medieval knight for the day with interactive storytelling sessions in the Castle’s magnificent State Apartments.

The storytelling sessions, all about 7-year-old Percival and how he came to be at the Castle before becoming a worthy knight, will be held within the State Apartments. (11:30, 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30).

After marvelling at the impressive suits of armour on display at the Castle – including a suit worn by Henry VIII that was expandable to accommodate his ever-increasing size – children can head to the Learning Centre where they will have the chance to design their own shield and also learn all about all the different parts of a knight's armour. These craft activities will take place in the calm surroundings of the Castle's Learning Centre.
