We will speak of the great historical characters that have visited this historic capital of Anglo-Saxon England from William the Conqueror to Henry VIII and from Oliver Cromwell to Alfred the Great. But also the great literary characters. From King Arthur to Sherlock Holmes and from Thomas Hardy to Jane Austen.
