Hampshire Country Sports Day 2023
Returns to Bereleigh Estate on Sunday 10 September 2023
The Hampshire Country Sports Day returns to Bereleigh Estate, East Meon, near Petersfield for another year of fantastic family fun and entertainment for everyone who loves the countryside. The event, sponsored by SHORTS plant hire and waste management, promises a day filled with excitement and friendly competition as members of the public can embark on 'have a go' activities and competitions, watch the ever-popular demos and explore the wide range of shopping.
Main Arena Attractions
• Interactive display from Red Tail Falconry
• The return of the fast and furious inter-hunt relay
• Dog training demo by Nick Gregory, who specialises in breeding and training Gundogs
• Shooting demos and talks by Chris Green the Countryman
• Horses and hounds parade
• Fishing techniques display by Charles Jardine
• Terrier racing plus family dog show
• 'Have a Go' Country Sports including clay pigeon shooting, archery, fly-fishing
• Food and drink, crafts, jewellery, sports, clothing and gift stands
The event runs from 09:30 – 17:00. Entry on the day £15 for adults, and under 16s go free, or you can pre-book on line from https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/hcsd.
