Come and enjoy a decadent evening of fine sparkling wines. It's a great excuse to taste some delicious sparkling wines from around the world.
We'll sample 6 wines including Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, English Sparkling wine, and two sparkling wines from elsewhere in the world.
For many people, a glass of fizz before the start of a meal can be the most enjoyable drink of the evening.
The process involved in making the bubbles is key to the flavour and style of the wine. We will sample Champagne (made using the traditional method) and compare it with other fizz from around the world.
Have you tried Champagne with fish and chips? Find out which foods pair well with sparkling wines and why. Or come to our Fizz, Fish, and Chips evening to find out for yourself!
During the evening we will cover:
the differences between Champagne, Prosecco, and Cava
a comparison with New World sparkling wines
perfect foods to complement Champagne
This evening is suitable for all levels of wine knowledge!
This event will include tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, wine notes & handouts, and a 2-hour interactive presentation, with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
All our courses can be purchased as a gift either as a dated or undated voucher.
