This a well-attended Christmas event in Lymington having been established for approximately 12+ years now and has now become a date in locals diaries to bring their families too to enjoy the beginning of the festivities.
There will be a free inflatable mini toboggan ride again this year where visitors can take a Mini Toboggan Slide With Photo Opportunity! Climb aboard the slide with a toboggan ring and slide down for a unique photo experience!
The High Street is closed from New Street up to Church Lane where market traders sell Christmasy taste sensations and hot food and drink for all budgets, along with amusements and fairground rides.
At 6pm the blessing of the crib at the Church takes place, followed by the Mayor's speech, carol singing around the tree and the Christmas lights being switched on.
Father Christmas also makes an appearance in a Sleigh at approximately 6.30pm.
Free parking is available to all visitors to the town for this day only, to enjoy the event and take advantage of the late night opening on this Black Friday.
