About

Step back in time to the 1940s this May half term and discover life of the past today!

This May half term, enjoy fun activities for all ages and join us for a celebration of all things 1940s! Enjoy living history with demonstrations and talks, historic objects, live performances, a trail and more on the streets of Milestones.

View historic objects, pick up a ration of sweets at our 1940s sweet shop, Abrahams, browse walk-in shops of the era and much more!

In addition to the demonstrations and activities, you can enjoy World War II themed food at the cafe such as corned beef hash and spam fritters as well as our usual menu items. Did you know that Fish and Chips were not rationed during the war?

Join in the fun by coming in 1940s attire!
