This May half term, enjoy fun activities for all ages and join us for a celebration of all things 1940s! Enjoy living history with demonstrations and talks, historic objects, live performances, a trail and more on the streets of Milestones.
View historic objects, pick up a ration of sweets at our 1940s sweet shop, Abrahams, browse walk-in shops of the era and much more!
In addition to the demonstrations and activities, you can enjoy World War II themed food at the cafe such as corned beef hash and spam fritters as well as our usual menu items. Did you know that Fish and Chips were not rationed during the war?

- Daily demonstrations and talks - from an ARP recruitment drive, Make Do and Mend talk to 40s cookery, what will you learn about life in the 1940s?
- 29 and 30 May, 11.30pm, 1.30pm and 3.30pm: Live performances from Fiona Harrison
- Monday 29 May, 2.30pm and 3.30pm: 40s talks with evacuee, David Stiles
27, 28, 30 and 31 May: We will be joined by militaria expert and 40s reenactor, Chris Dziuk
