The hostel enjoys a pleasant open garden well away from busy roads, making it the perfect spot to bring the kids in the summer months.

There is a £5 charge per dog per night for our bell tent, Landpod and safari tent accommodation which is payable upon arrival. Pets are not permitted in the hostel accommodation at YHA Truleigh Hill however, assistance dogs are welcome throughout, please advise upon booking.

Road Directions

From the M1 Southbound: At junction 6A, Use the left 3 lanes to merge onto M25 towards M40/M4/Heathrow Airport. Keep right to stay on M25. At junction 7, take the M23(S) exit to Brighton/Gatwick Airport. Merge onto M23, continue on A23. Take A27 to S Downs Way, continue onto A23,

Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A27 slip road to Worthing, then merge onto A27. Use the left lane to take the A283 slip road to A24. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A283. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Upper Shoreham Rd. Turn left onto Erringham Rd, then turn right onto Mill Hill. Turn right onto S Downs Way and the hostel will be on your left.

The closest bus stop is Golden Barn Farm on Henfield Road. There is a 1.2 mile walk from this stop to the hostel. 

This bus stop 5 minutes’ walk from Burgess Hill train station which connects to London St Pancras International station.

The closest airport is Brighton City Airport.
