With its quintessentially English setting amongst the rolling West Sussex countryside, the historic 12,000 acre Goodwood Estate, home to the Dukes of Richmond for over three hundred years, features an eclectic combination of thrilling unconventional experiences, breath-taking vistas, priceless works of art, organic and award-winning produce.
And the gateway to all this is The Goodwood Hotel. The Hotel reflects Goodwood’s overarching passion for perfection: we're proud of our good old fashioned customer service, superb dining options and all 91 of our beautifully styled rooms. Some are light and airy, and open onto a garden terrace, others are classic yet full of character, combining elegant furniture with eclectic collections of books. Textured throws on each bed add homely touches and the stylish ornaments reflect the sporting heritage of the Goodwood Estate while chocolates from local chocolatiers complete the in-room experience.
The Goodwood Hotel has 11 dog-friendly rooms that welcome guests with dogs aged one and above. Your four legged companion will be provided with a bed, bowls, bags and treats to make his or her visit to Goodwood as much of a special occasion as yours.
Our dog-friendly rooms are all on the ground floor of our hotel, and either have access onto an inner courtyard or are near an exit.
Your break could see you learning new skills by flying one of our very own aircraft, immersing yourself in history and culture visiting Goodwood House, enjoying the flavours of the Estate in one of our restaurants or indulging in carefree family moments by the sea or visiting a wide range of local attractions. Whatever you are looking for in a getaway, whether it be a romantic escape to the country, the adventure of a lifetime or an indulgent gastronomic break, you are sure to find it at The Goodwood Hotel.
