The Black Horse Inn Canterbury Bed and Breakfast

About

We welcome guests into a traditional B&B with Remote Self Check-in since 2020.

We are five minutes from Canterbury West Station, ten minutes to the town centre and 15 minutes to the University of Kent.

We offer quality accommodation with new modern ensuite facilities in fourteen uniquely beautiful and quiet rooms. Recently refurbished in calm and peaceful colours, with period furniture and decoration, all recently restored throughout and in keeping with the period building, retaining many original features, such as fireplaces, wall panelling and original floors.

Every bed is new with a memory-foam topped mattress on a sprung base. Each small ensuite has a power shower with instant hot water, a heated towel rail, an LED mirror and free toiletries. All rooms have a beverage welcome tray with ground coffee and assorted teas, a hair-dryer, fan, a flat screen TV with remote and access to an iron and ironing board. The majority of rooms are also fitted with a mini fridge.

Continental Breakfast or Full English is included in the price of the rooms from 8 am to 10 am. The kitchen is recently refurbished. The garden patio has tables and sunshades to sit outside in the summer.

In and around Canterbury there are plenty of things to do and places to eat. There is the Marlowe Theatre and of course the famous Canterbury Cathedral.

Please call 01227 455411 if any problems. Check-in remotely 2pm onward
