Lovely old Cotswold stone country house with oak beams and flagstone floors in delightful rural setting. Large secluded garden with grass tennis court. Ideal for Blenheim Palace (4 miles), the Cotswolds and Oxford. Roman Villa close by.

Good walking country with many delightful walks close by. Comfortable, attractively furnished bedrooms with views of the garden or the surrounding countryside. All rooms are ensuite with colour TV and tea/coffee making-facilities. Non-smoking. Guest sitting room with snooker table for residents' use.

A choice of excellent pubs within easy reach.

From M40 junction 8
Follow A40 around north side of Oxford, then take A44 to Woodstock. From Woodstock take A4095 for 4 miles, then take right turn, signposted Roman Villa and East End. Gorselands Hall is 160yds up Boddington Lane on the left-hand side.

Public Transport Directions

From Hanborough - 2 miles
By train to Hanborough Station which is 2 miles from Gorselands Hall. (Trains can be met.) By bus from Oxford . No 11 from George Street every hour, or No 42 from Woodstock or Witney to Boddington Lane.
