About

Located between Andover and Newbury, once referred to as being 'invitingly snug', this Victorian Country House Hotel is small, unpretentious, yet stylish.

It is set amidst the splendour of the North Wessex Down, close by the lovely Bourne Valley, in an area designated one of outstanding natural beauty.

The house, which for over 100 years has been a country retreat, still retains the feel of a private home with a friendly host, warm and caring staff, with comfortable lounges and individually designed luxury bedrooms where you are pampered with fluffy towels and robes, local well water and home made biscuits.

An ideal retreat close to the historic towns of Winchester and Salisbury and ancient Stonehenge.
