Rose and Crown (Shilton)
The Rose and Crown is in the heart of the idyllic village of Shilton in the Cotswolds; a stone's throw from the picturesque ford that crosses the meandering Shill Brook. Dating back to the 17th century, the Rose and Crown offers everything you expect from a real 'local': a traditional Cotswold stone antique inn with beams, log fires and cosy corners, a pretty garden for families, a friendly bar where you can chat or linger over a drink, and a mouth-watering menu cooked to the highest standards, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The freehold pub has been owned and run by Martin Coldicott since 2006, and is featured in The Good Pub Guide, The Good Beer Guide, and Alastair Sawday's Guide to Pubs & Inns.
Lunch and dinner are served every day, cooked by chef/landlord Martin, and Head Chef Jamie Webber.
