Grasshopper Inn
The Grasshopper Inn has been designed and equipped to fulfil a wide range of functions. Our Carvery Restaurant is what we are most famous for. It is set in the glorious Village Restaurant, which boasts splendid old fashioned decor complete with original oak beams and a stunning fireplace. At the carvery, there is always a choice of three freshly cooked, British meats served with a selection of seasonal vegetables. roast and new potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, chipolata sausage, sage and onion stuffing and homemade gravy. Naturally there is a vegetarian option available.
The Grill Room is the perfect place to enjoy a sit down meal. Our chefs work hard to ensure the menu is changed seasonally. They use products sourced from excellent British suppliers using traditional farming methods. Our meats are hung for a minimum of 21 days and the fish is from sustainable sources.
Opening details: Monday - Saturday, 12pm to 2.30pm/ 5.30pm to 9pm. Sunday, 12pm to 9pm.
