Michel Navet, one of the restaurant's patrons, was born in Normandy near Cherbourg. He has been living in Britain with his British wife Jane in the south of England for the past thirty years. Since opening Comme Ca twenty two years ago with his wife, he has realised that Comme Ca must be based on quality and hence, has sourced the majority of his produce locally: buying from local fishermen in Portsmouth, Selsey and Littlehampton, and from butchers in Worthing.
