Bird in Hand
Typical of the region, the Bird in Hand was originally constructed in the traditional manner in the 17th century. Today the inn has been totally renovated but it is still rich in original charm and period features including open log fires in the winter months.
With excellent service and fine locally sourced food, this is a privately owned and operated inn. The restaurant offers traditional British and European cuisine with a modern flair and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The bar has an excellent range of real ales, a varied wine list and a huge selection of spirits.
