Lewes Farmers' Market

First Saturday of each month: 9am to 1pm
Cliffe Pedestrian Precinct.

In 1998 Common Cause set up a Farmers' Market in Lewes, one of the first in the country. At Farmers' Markets, local producers sell food that they have grown, raised or processed themselves.
At the Lewes market, produce comes from Sussex. Priority is given to small-scale producers who work in a way that cares for the environment and animal welfare.
