Newbury Racecourse is one of the most famous and prestigious racing venues in the UK, providing world class racing, hospitality and excellent facilities for conferences and events.

Renowned for its friendly atmosphere and remarkable views, Newbury Racecourse offers enthralling action throughout the year at over 28 racedays including both Jump and Flat codes of the sport.

The highlight of Newbury’s Jump racing programme is the Hennessy Gold Cup, one of the most sought after prizes in the sport and is the focal point of the bet365 Festival, which attracts many high profile celebrities to the racecourse.

On the Flat, Newbury’s high quality programme includes the Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes in May, a highly valuable race, which has been won by some of the greats of the sport, including the unbeaten Frankel in 2012.

For an all-round summer day’s entertainment, Newbury regularly hosts world-famous artists including the likes of Jessie J, Tom Jones, the Beach Boys and Madness on their famous Party in the Paddock racedays.

Tickets start from £17 with early booking deals and group discounts available, while under 18s get in free (except Party in the Paddock events).

Entry prices vary from raceday to raceday and all price below are liable to change:

Grandstand Enclosure entry from £17

Premier Enclosure entry from £25

Children enter for free (under18) (except for Party in the Paddock events)

Entry packages from £27, including entry, £2 Tote bet, £10 food and drink voucher and racecard voucher.

Raceday dining packages, including entry, table for the day, three course meal and racecard from £69

Free birthday ticket if your birthday falls on a raceday, tickets must be booked at least 7 days in advance. Please email a scanned copy of either your passport, driving license or birth certificate, along with your address to info@newburyracecourse.co.uk

Group bookings of 10 to 40 Premier or Grandstand tickets receive a 15% discount*

For bookings of 41+ Premier or Grandstand tickets racegoers will receive 20% discount*

Free Grandstand entry for coach drivers.

* Tickets must be booked at least 7 full days in advance, valid for ticket purchases only, excludes Party in the Paddock live music.

Concessions:

Students.: £5 discount for students with valid photo NUS card. Tickets must be purchased at the gate upon receipt of valid ID.*

Armed Forces: 10% discount off Premier entry for all serving Armed Forces personnel- pre bookable only, 7 full days prior to race date.  Please see racing calendar regarding FREE ENTRY for Armed Forces on Worthington’s Armed Forces Raceday.  A  Military ID or British Legion number must be quoted upon booking.*

Emergency Services: 10% discount off Premier entry for all Emergency Services personnel.  These tickets are pre bookable only, a roll number must be quoted upon booking at least seven full days prior to your chosen race date.*

Over 60s, Disabled or Carer Tickets: £5 discount off Premier & Grandstand entry for over 60s.  Tickets must be purchased at the gate upon receipt of valid ID.

On receipt of a blue or green badge at the entry gates we offer a £5 discount off every raceday to disabled racegoers and their carers.   These tickets can also be pre-booked by calling 01635 40015 quoting your blue or green badge number.

Road Directions

FROM M4 – JUNCTION 13

Exit the M4 at Junction 13 and join the A34 for Newbury. Follow the signs for Newbury, joining the A339 and follow into Newbury to a set of traffic lights (keep in one of the two lanes on the right hand side). Continue straight over two sets of traffic lights on the large roundabout (Robin Hood roundabout). At the next roundabout (Sainsbury’s on left), continue straight over remaining on the A339. At the next roundabout (Halfords on left), take the first exit left into Queens Road. At the mini roundabout, fork right into Greenham Road and take the first left into Racecourse Road leading to the main racecourse entrance.

FROM M3 - JUNCTION 9

Exit the M3 at Junction 9 (signed to the Midlands, Newbury and A34). Join the A34 and south of Newbury, leave the A34 at the exit sign posted Newbury B4640 / Tot Hill services, then follow the brown signs to Newbury Racecourse.

FROM M3 - JUNCTION 6

Follow the A339 to Newbury and then follow the brown signs to Newbury Racecourse.

Public Transport Directions

Newbury Racecourse has its own station, one stop from Newbury Station, with direct connections to London Paddington and the West.
