Kent Life
Kent’s premier heritage farm park will soon be launched into a new era with several developments on the cards between April and July, including brand new costumed characters and a baa-rilliant Sheep Festival!
From 9th April, visitors to the attraction will be treated to ‘Tales from the Village Green’ - stories from the site’s past, told by costumed characters. The three new entertainers will come in the guise of: a 1950s farmer; a Victorian maid; and a 1940s soldier.
As well as a brand new farm shop and revamped Tea Rooms selling a range of locally sourced foods and produce, the attraction will also host its first ever Sheep Festival! Kent Life will be celebrating everything woolly over the summer holidays by hosting daily sheep shows and sheep racing. Visitors will also be able to join the hunt for 15 wooden sheep hidden around the grounds, and if all 15 are discovered visitors may win a yummy treat!
In addition, Ma Larkin’s Kitchen will be brought back to life at Kent Life after years behind closed doors. The Friends of Kent Life team will be painstakingly recreating the original replica set, the skeleton of which currently exists hidden on site.
There will be lots going on this year, and with the new family ticket and yearly membership passes, Kent Life can offer a very competitively priced fun day out, time and time again!
