Ightham Mote

Built nearly 700 years ago, Ightham Mote has been described as ‘one of the most beautiful and interesting English country houses’.

The house has seen many changes – having been owned by medieval knights, courtiers to Henry VIII and high-society Victorians. Ightham Mote hosts events and activities throughout the year as well as regular talks and tours of the house and gardens.

For more information on events and activities (including events in the Mote Restaurant, theatre evenings and children’s activities)
