Hook Norton Brewery

About

Hook Norton is one of only 32 family owned breweries and is the finest example of a Victorian Tower Brewery in the country. Of course, the brewery is about so much more than just its fantastic range of award-winning beers. At the brewery, they have a shop, Malthouse Kitchen Cafe, free museum and meeting rooms. They have 36 pubs that are at the heart of many of local communities, serving great drink and food to the region.

Whilst they do dedicate their lives to brewing the best quality ale they have a whole host of other reasons to pop in and see them at the brewery.

Brewery Tours

Brewery tours start from the Visitors Centre and last approximately 2 hours. The first 1½ hours are spent around the brewery where you’ll see their original steam engine, learn about their history and how they make their range of delicious beers. After a tour of the stables, if they are in residence you’ll be able to see the lovely Shire Horses who still deliver beer to their local pubs in the traditional way. Upon completion of the tour, it’s back to their sampling bar in the Visitor Centre for a ½ hour beer tasting.

Brewery Shop

Pick up your favourite beer and browse their wide range of beer-related merchandise and gifts alongside local arts and crafts.

Malthouse Kitchen

Enjoy locally sourced and lovingly prepared tasty food served up for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.

Brewery & Village Museum

Take a trip back in time and learn all about the history and heritage of Hook Norton Brewery and the village. Entrance to the brewery museum is free of charge.

Meetings, Conferences, Events & Weddings
Whatever type of event you are planning they have room for you. They have several rooms to choose from and can add on unique elements like a brewery tour or beer tasting.

Celebrating their 175th Anniversary, Hook Norton Brewery invites you to go on a virtual ale trail of their pubs and brewery, enjoy all that they have to offer and pick up some great prizes and memories along the way.

They have partnered with Cask Marque, to produce the virtual ale trail available on the Cask Finder App.
