PLANNING AHEAD FOR 2024

D-Day 80th Anniversary

2024 marks the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings, the largest seaborne invasion ever, and one that changed the course of history. There will be a host of commemoration events taking place across Portsmouth not just on the anniversary itself but all throughout the year.

Many of these will be centred around The D-Day Story, the UK's only museum dedicated to those monumental events of 6 June 1944, as well as the personal testimonies of those who took part.
