The Queen's Head

About

A white picket fence is what catches the eye on approach to this quaint 17th-century village watering hole, located in the delightful village of East Clandon. Recently refurbished inside, visitors are met with time-honoured wooden furniture that blends perfectly with the fashionable trimmings – an ideal marriage of rustic tradition and contemporary design. Friendly and knowledgeable, a member of staff is always on hand to keep the impressive selection of beer and wine, or whatever quenches your thirst, flowing.

Log-burning stoves and open fires warm the cockles of your heart on a freezing winter’s night. Conversely, outside there is a large patio area with partial covering, ideal for alfresco dining during summer months while taking in the lovely village surroundings.

When it comes to food, the chef has been given a free range to create delicious surprises to put on the regularly changing menu, which has gained the pub an excellent reputation for hearty English fare incorporating the freshest ingredients from local producers. As a real hub of the community, the Queen’s Head truly fills the role of a great country pub.
