Fishermen's Museum

About

A former fishermen's church by old net shops, now a museum on local fishing with ship models, nets, old photographs and the Lugger 'Enterprise', built in 1912. There is also a model of 'Henri Grace A Dieu', built for the Royal Tournament in 1922. An adjacent net shop may also be viewed, together with 4 more fishing boats which are displayed outside.

    A nice little place to visit. Hastings is steeped in history and this place has alot to say for itself. Free entry. Nice educational visit. Lots to learn. Well done to all the staff who were lovely. Read full review

    So interesting to see and read about all the little exhibits. The boat inside was fabulous and I can imagine children would be very taken by it. What a good use of an unused church as well. Read full review
