If having a great time in the sun with the family enjoying Cheese & Chilli, live music, stunt shows, craft shows, cooking demonstrations, cheese & chilli tastings, wine masterclass form A’Becketts Vineyard, Chilli growing presentations, falconry displays, magic shows, balloon modelling, inflatables, Punch & Judy as well as other entertainments  such as a Chilli Eating Competition not to mention the new Mexicana Cheese Mac V Man challenge is your thing then you need to come to the Cheese & Chilli Festival.  We also have Real Ale and Cider Bars from Downton Brewery and Worley’s Cider offering their amazing home brews. 

The Cheese & Chilli Festival happening in Guildford over the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd July.Mexicana Cheese will be at the show offering samples of their new products including their Extra Hot Cheese Burger along with special guests such as Chilli Olly who will be demonstrating the art of using chillies in a variety of different ways, Sea Spring Seeds who will be offering tips and advice on growing chillies and a’Beckets Vineyard offering amazing wine tasting sessions it’s a must go to event.As well as many amazing cheese & chilli products, we have a great selection of other local and regional items available including a fantastic craft market as well as many entertainments designed for all members of the family.We need your input! - At the event we ask you to judge a chilli sauce competition in the Tasting Tent whereby a selection of the finest chilli sauces are available to taste.  The winning sauces receive the much coveted Cheese & Chilli Festival awards.  We also have the famous chilli eating competition and the unique Mexicana Mac V Man competitionhappening each day where members of the public test themselves against the hottest chillies in the world.By public demand, we have Downton Brewery offering a Real Ale Bar including a Chilli Ale made just for the show and Worleys’ Cider offering a Real Somerset Cider Bar.  A’Becketts Vineyard will also be offering their award wining wines.Simon Stewart, the festival organiser says: “Last years’ show was amazing for us as the feedback and the general atmosphere on site was electric. 

We are so looking forward to this year's event and hope that the sun shines for us again as it did last year.  The concept of the show is to try and offer a cost effective whole family day out experience, so from just £10 a family of 4 can go out for the day and take advantage of many free activities.  Also, the products on offer are unique and amazing, so you’ll definitely be stocking up on supplies.’The event will be supporting various Charities including Breast Cancer UK centres, who offer support for people and families affected by cancer and the local Challengers Charity.Admission: Children under 16 are FREE, Adults £5 in advance, £7 on the door, concessions also apply for older people and carers.
