About

Borde Hill is a beautiful Grade II* English Heritage listed garden set within 200 acres of scenic parkland. Renowned as a plantsman’s paradise, the Garden boasts rare shrubs and champion trees, stunning herbaceous borders, a large lily pool and subtropical dells with palms and banana trees.

Enjoy tranquil Garden ‘rooms’, including the Rose and Italian Gardens, an abundance of colour throughout the season, stunning views across the Ouse Valley Viaduct, woodland and lakeside walks and home-cooked food.
 
2022 events throughout the season include family trails and activities during the school holidays, Live Music in the Garden, Open Air Opera, Bark in the Park, The Great British Food Festival, Plant Fairs, wellbeing events, and horticultural talks and tours.
 
For Groups (10+), we offer a discounted entry rate, pre-booked Garden tours and bespoke catering options served inside a dedicated marquee.
 
The 17 acre formal Garden has easy access routes and gentle sloping paths.
