A vineyard situated on the A26 between Crowborough and Uckfield, Barnsgate Manor nestles in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside, right on the edge of the spectacular Ashdown Forest. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view to the South Downs far in the distance. You are welcome to walk around Barnsgate’s many acres and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
See the vines, the attractive buildings and the many animals - a horse, donkeys, Angora goats, llamas and sheep - which are so popular with visitors. You can also browse in the gift shop, which sells a wide range of good quality goods, including a variety of wines, locally produced preserves and greetings cards.
Our Manor House Tea Rooms and Shop are open every day from 10am to 5pm (or dusk if earlier) and the Restaurant is open for Lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm and for Dinner Tuesday to Saturday 6pm - 9pm (last orders). BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

There is ample free parking for 150 cars and easy wheelchair accessibility to the Manor House and other facilities.
There are also extensive function facilities in the Manor House and the Ashdown Restaurant/Cellar complex. Barnsgate Manor has established itself as one of the most popular Wedding venues in East Sussex for both Wedding Receptions and Civil Ceremonies. They offer unique all-inclusive Wedding Packages for up to 200 guests.
