Firle Place
Firle Place will be closed to the public and to private groups for the 2012 season due to major restoration works. Events in the Riding School, grounds and parkland will continue as normal so please telephone 01273 858567 for event booking enquiries. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
A Tudor house with Georgian additions, set in a downland park close to the South Downs. Firle Place has an important collection of English and European Old Master paintings. There is also fine French and English furniture, notable Sevres and English porcelain, plus documents relating to the Gage family who continue to live at Firle. Connections with the American War of Independence.
